Professional work and projects

Royal and Ceremonial

Working on some of the biggest Royal events over the last decade, Jessica has had the honour of managing and overseeing work for HRH Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Barge, His Majesty King Charles III Coronation and for the Late Queen Elizabeth II Funeral. She was instrumental in obtaining and managing the Royal Warrant for services to the Royal Household while at Hand and Lock. Alongside this, she worked with Gieves and Hawkes to manage and upkeep the uniforms for His (formerly Her) Majesty's BodyGuard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms.  She has also produced embroidery and accoutrements for many other royal uniforms and garments.

Jessica has also worked closely with Ede and Ravenscroft to produce the ceremonial jacket for the Duke of Norfolk worn at the Coronation of King Charles III and a wide variety of other ceremonial uniforms for the Garter King of Arms, Lord Lyon Garter King of Arms and Major of London. Further to this for the last 10 years she has created the embroidered Garter worn by  Prince William, and other members of the Order of the Garter.  Her keen eye for detail meant she solidified her reputation in the industry and creating herself as one of the key contacts for the Royal Household and others to contact for intricate and detailed projects.

Military

Jessica has worked closely with the royal forces during her time at Hand & Lock. She produced Hand embroidered badges for officers mess dress and NO1 uniforms. She worked with over 50 different regiments and was able to produce all kinds of accoutrements, flags, banners and embroidery for for officers and above. She worked directly with the Royal Forces, Gieves and hawkes, Henry Poole, Dege and skinner, and Kashkets

Fashion and Celebrity

Jessica has worked with some of the leading designers in the fashion industry. She has designed, overseen and managed project with, Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood, Dior, Chanel, Burberry, The Vampires Wife, Kim Jones and more. She has also had the pleasure of working with a range of celebrities such as, Dawn French, Pharrell, Wretch 32, Harry Styles, and David Beckham. Notable projects she worked on are; The Brian May Embroidered Jacket for 2012 London Olympics, Mary Katratzou 2014 AW collection, Burberry AW19 & embroidered letter bags and Louis Vuitton AW 2013 collection with The Chapman Brothers.

Artist, Custom & High End

Jessica has worked on a high variety of different types of projects and is able to apply embroidery to any setting. She has worked on commissions for  Yinka Illori and Apple, Jessica Mccormack, Gilbert and George, Nelly Agassi, Grant MacDonald, and Alma Berrow, as well as projects like Bentley Concept car 2020, Kim Jones decommissioned Colt M16 assault rifle for peace on day, badges for Virgin Galactic, and development of uniforms for Annable's nightclubs. She has also worked on many project for Theater TV and Film such as  Bridgerton, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them and Inspector calls

Interiors

Jessica seeks to create beautiful spaces with textiles and embroidery. She runs an interior design business with her sister, where they aim to bring textile and embroidery into residential properties. Along with her sister she has successfully created full house renovations all over London.

Restoration

Jessica has a passion for ensuring the longevity of historical and influential embroidery. She has worked on many restoration projects seeking to maintain its historical story and ensure its place in the future. Her largest project was the restoration of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra’s Garter Banner. This project took the original garter banners which were on the brink of disintegration and repaired, stabilised, and replaced areas to allow them to be rehung in St George's Chapel of Windsor Castle. The Project was incredibly complex and took a total of 5 years to complete. Jessica has also worked on Projects with the Museum of London, V&A and Imperial War Museum. 

Product Development

As well as creating exceptional embroidery for private commissions Jessica has created, managed and overseen the development, design and production of a range of products for Hand & Lock, such as the 1767 Embroidery case, and the launch of the 'By Hand & Lock' range. These have also been sold at other retailers such as the V&A museum.
